Bus and Visiting Spectator Parking

Soccer, Cross Country, Baseball, & Softball:  

BUSES & SPECTATORS should park in the rear parking lot, conveniently located near the fields. Please take Keller Ave. to access the rear entrance. The athletic complex is located in the rear of the school.

Basketball:

BUSES: Please drop-off team in the front horseshoe after 3:30pm to avoid disruptions in our dismissal.  After drop-off, please park the bus in the rear parking lot (please take Keller Ave. to access the rear entrance) OR staff parking lot on the left side of the building.  

SPECTATORS: The entrance to the Rich Stepanian Memorial Gymnasium is located in the front of the school. You may park in the front horseshoe after 3:30 PM OR in the staff parking lot on the left side of the building. Please enter through the front doors. 

Overflow Parking:

Please park in the Staff Parking Lot (after 3:30pm) which is located on the left side of the school, behind the Administrative Building and adjacent to the Church.  Most days you can also park in the Assembly of God Church parking lot. 

Facilities

Robert Thompson Athletic Fields - Thomas Jefferson's Outdoor Athletic Complex

This impressive complex has a professional size baseball field, a fenced-in softball field, a soccer field, and a NEW outdoor basketball court.  All facilities are used for TJ Athletics events, Physical Education classes, and Rockaway Borough Recreational programs.  The garage has BATHROOMS that are open for all TJ Athletic Events!  This wonderful complex serves as the Home of the TJ Rams and Lady Rams during the Fall and Spring Sports seasons!!!

Rich Stepanian Memorial Gymnasium 

This "cozy" gymnasium was dedicated to Mr. Stepanian in 2005 after 42 years of service to the Rockaway Borough School District as a Physical Education Teacher, Coach, Assistant Principal, and Athletic Director.  Mr. Stepanian is in the Rockaway Borough Board of Education Hall of Fame.  You can read his plaque in the foyer by the entrance of the gymnasium. The gymnasium is beautiful with original wood flooring and a unique wooden roof. The floor was completely renovated in the summer of 2015 and again in 2022.  The renovations included a complete resurfacing of the floor, the addition of a full-size volleyball court, and an update of the basketball court lines to meet current NFHS regulations! Most recently, our school ;ogog was added to the floor! There is a stage that is used for spectator's viewing pleasure. This gym serves as the HOME to all Physical Education Classes and the TJ Rams and Lady Rams during the Winter Basketball season! At night in the winter, RB Rec Basketball uses the facility. It also hosts the Club Volleyball team which competes in the GMCJSCA's Club Volleyball Tournament.  In 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, & 2023 the Rams placed FIRST in the boys' division, girls' division, and the co-ed division and were crowned OVERALL CHAMPIONS!!
